La Terra dei Miti Srl is a cultural enterprise based in Pozzuoli, established with the aim of promoting the cultural and environmental value of the Campi Flegrei, an area that offers a huge range of opportunities for tourism, given its wealth of sites with historical, scientific, archaeological and natural importance, all within easy reach of the city of Naples.

The great travellers of the past, starting with the Greeks and Romans, left their traces in the remains of the ancient colony of Cuma, the impressive thermal baths at Baia, and buildings for business and pleasure in Pozzuoli. Together with the area’s volcanic features, for centuries these archaeological sites have attracted travellers on the Grand Tour because of their mixture of history, myths and legends told by Homer and Virgil.

La Terra dei Miti accompanies today’s travellers as they discover the excavations of Cuma, the Baths of Baia archaeological park, the Piscina Mirabilis, the archaeological museum of the Campi Flegrei, as well as the historical center of Pozzuoli, with its archaeological walking route around Rione Terra, the Flavian Amphitheater, and the Macellum. We also organize visits to natural sites such as the Solfatara volcano (from the outside), Monte Nuovo, and Averno Lake.

In collaboration with companies and institutions that work in the cultural tourism sector we offer our own services and skills in the organization of events and cultural itineraries.

La Terra dei Miti is leading partner of the “Macellum” ATI, awarded first Public-Private Special Partnership management of the so-called Temple of Serapide of Pozzuoli, promoted by the Archaeological Park of the Campi Flegrei.

Regarding conference activities, La Terra dei Miti organizes cultural tours around the most important archaeological and natural sites of the Campi Flegrei, in collaboration with selected hospitality businesses that have been working in the area for years, making the cultural experience rich and complete from a gastronomic and wine-tasting perspective too. The companies we have chosen meet the requirements associated with the number of participants, the planned itinerary, and catering specifications, and are also equipped with the facilities to host conferences, events, and weddings.
